Gone, Gone, Gone

Saturday night.. late... had a couple three beers in me.. not in the best of moods...

Lost all my winnings playing NL SNG's..... took awhile to lose it all, as I won a few....somehow....

Ah well... was not like it was 'my' money.....

I did win a live tourney Saturday night.. before I went home and lost online... went to play and got there late, but a friend had some family arrive and needed to sit out, so, they let me take his spot... only 35 bucks in the prize money... paying 1 and 2... I won it for him.... played liked every hand was pocket aces....and it felt pretty good to know more about poker than those I was playing....

He too his 25 bucks winnings and gave me 5 of it...... I didn't expect any... so that was cool... was fun just to win it...

Today is Valentines day..... I suppose Im supposed to get something nice for my girlfriend... I will be giving up my regular poker playing on monday night at Razoo's.. but, I have been told, that particular sacrifice will not be enough... her daughter suggested I get her a deck of cards.. and at first that seemed like a wonderful idea... ofcourse, upon further pondering... I concluded, that this is prolly not the right Valentine's for a deck of cards... it's our first... perhaps a chip set....

I played some damn good poker last night.... won .60 at the blogger table.. even tho no one knew who the hell I was, sans April, and i was not even trying to win, was just smoozing with the poker babe... ended up +30 bucks at PP..... I know this cuz i put 50 in, and I took 50 out and my balance is 31.96....or so....

anyway..... did well at all sites i played at... pretty much every loss was a due to a suck out... and I have a theory on MTT's, which I may share, if I remember it

3 straights in a row?

yep, that is how I won the second tourney last night at Baby A's.

APL hosts 2 tourneys there on Wednesday night, 6pm and 9pm.

I didn't do very well in the first tourney, which is why I played in the second tourney.... nothing remembered from first tourney.. played too agressive and it cost me...

Second tourney... after about 4 hands of folding.... I got AJ, flopped a straight... medium size pot... then Q10, flopped a straight.. huge pot.. took a player out...then KQ Ace on turn gave me a straight, no flush draw, but there were 2 Jacks on board and my opponents were betting aggressively.. one I knew bets hard with bottome pair, wasn't worried about her... the other was a good player tho.... TP A.... 3 jacks he had... whew... thought he might have had a FH... he was in position tho.. checked on the river... I bet 2k into 8k or so pot.. he called.. so did the maniac.... monster win for me with the straight....

then it was pretty much dead hands from then on... never played another until my last hand.....blinds were 2k/4k... I had 8k, UTG.... just went all in blind.. figured 8th place was good points.. certainly bettre than 9th... and it was late...

one caller.... some anal retents wanted me to flip my cards... i refused.. saying its a free tourney, no one actually paid to see my cards.... they relented... caller had A8s ( hearts ).. board was sumtin like... 2 3 4 3 9 raining rainbow...no hearts eithre... so, now, i turn over one card... Jclubs.... not bad... I got 6 outs... just need my second card to be a j or pair the board... slow roll it.... Qclubs.... ah well.... neat thing is.. I would have done the same thing had I looked at them.... the caller knew this and said had I looked at my cards and did it, he might not have called.. ( ya, right ).. then another said, well, if you hadn't of called, I would have with my 4's.... and yada yada.... all I wanted was the 6k blinds in the pot.... was happy with the all in blind.
