For those in Austin, going to Vegas for the WPBT tourney/event on and about Dec 10, I believe I have found the best possible deal:
Booking flight/hotel separately.
The rates the Imperial Palace is giving us are exceptional... stay there. no question. They are not going to honor those rates tho, if you book a package.
Flying to Vegas, leaving Wednesday, the 7th, at 8pm. South West airlines $108
Coming back, leaving Sunday, the 11th, at 10:48pm. AmericaWest airlilnes $99
The room total is $116 ( quoted from thier staff ), which I am splitting with a friend, so my total is about $286. 3 days, 4 nights.
